Power Groups are groups of segements created by the simulator and are separated by the minimum power (wattage) required to feed a column or group of columns the necessary electrical current. Class 2 power supplies are recommended for open air applications otherwise any class of power supply can be used with ToroMesh® LED modules and LED strips.
Full Mesh Rows refer to the maximum number of LED in a given segment which can be connected together using any of the TM-CNX connectors. The maximum number of LEDs is 140 (max 4.0 Amps).
Segments are groups of LED modules or rigid strips inter connected with TM-CNX connectors. The simulator will automatically create segments based on the maximum allowable LEDs per segment. The simulator separates segments by yellow lines . Place connectors in reverse at these points. This will allow you to hold segment together and will avoid electrical contact between segements.
Single sided and double sided modules and rigid strips draw different currents and thus make up different segment sizes. To know more about the limitations when connecting ToroMesh® LED modules and strips with TM-CNX connectors refer to the product's spec sheet.
If you are using TM-PWR-CRD to power up a lattice lighting system or long linear runs, segments are not separated due to the thickness of the cable and type of circuit configuration. The maximum LED you can use with the TM-PWR-CRD is 380.
Extra Rows and Partial Mesh Columns refer to none full mesh rows (less than 140 LEDs). You can connect extra rows and partial mesh columns together as long as they meet the recommended maximum segment sizes as per the product specs and manual.
